How Can Muscle Twitching Be Treated?

hi ive been having muscle twitches for a very long time now and theyre getting worse. ive asked my doc and, he said to drink tonic water. and ive been drinking that for a couple months now and it hasnt done anything. please what can i do to make it go away.
