Hi my toddler is lactose intolerant and when he accidentally as anything with lactose in he as bad nappies and his bottom becomes very sore sometimes to the point of bleeding. The doctors used to give me trimovate cream and that’s the only cream that clears him, but apparently there is a manufacturing problem and the gp hasn’t been able too get hold of any for over 2 months. They have given me Timidine instead but that does not work . Is there an alternative cream to trimovate that’s as strong as that which you could advise please ?
Hello, Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern
Trimovate and Timidine cream contain steroid, antifungal and antiseptic combination in similar strength. Timidine is very effective in clearing up nappy rash. Please continue Timidine as prescribed. Also, change your baby's nappy frequently. Give some nappy free time too. Clean the area gently with a wet wash cloth,.allow to air dry and apply the Timidine cream.
