How Can Nasal Congestion And Cough Be Treated?

I have had nasal congestion and a cough now for 2 weeks. My doctor has diagnosed it as allergy problem. Giving me only a cough medicine and use Flowmax. It does not seem to be getting better. I have sleep apnea and use a breathing machine. I ve been getting some relief from Dayqyl and Niteqyl but only for short periods of time. I can t stay this way on a continuous basis. What can I do to feel better?

Hello,

Its likely due to upper respiratory tract infection. Mouth wash with Hexidine, steam inhalation and 5 days course of antibiotic Azithromycin with montelukast might help you.

Regards
