General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms of fetor that is smell in nose, headache and nausea can be due to nasal or sinus infection unless proved otherwise. You should consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, nasal endoscopy and investigations of blood, CT scan of sinuses and as needed. All these will give a proper diagnosis.

A course of proper prescription based antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and decongestant should help you. Complete the course as such infection needs a course of a few weeks till cure. Half treated patients start getting such symptoms again and again. Take steam inhalation. Avoid instigating and enhancing factors.

Take care.
Hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
