How Can Nausea And Abdominal Pain Due To Kidney Stones Be Treated?

I came out with mild fullness of the bilateral renal collecting systems, without evidence of obstructing regreso stone. I had bilateral kidney stones removed a month and a half ago, but a small one remained in the upper left kidney. Have nausea and kidney pain everyday.

Hello,

How and welcome to Ask a Doctor service. I have read through your question and here is my opinion.

Renal stones can cause severe pain in abdomen because they move around in the urinary tract.

They can also lead to recurrent urinary tract infections. It is advisable that you get a repeat ultrasound done to check whether stones is still present and it's exact location and size.

Meanwhile to relieve the pain you can take an over the counter painkiller like Advil and an antacid like Tab ranitidine to relieve nausea.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
