How Can Neck Atlas Bone Pain Causing Headaches And Tension Be Treated?

I have a had a pain in my neck that causes inredible tension and headaches for about 2 years now. i went to a chiropractor once and they said it was the atlas bone that was the culprit. He attempted to straighten me but nothing ever worked. It is severly affecting my life now.
