How Can Neck Bone Protrusion Be Treated?

The bones at the back of my neck lump out, so it makes my head look like it is been pushed out a little. When I was younger I used to be overweight and slouched alot. I'm not sure if I have lordosis but I don't want to undertake surgery. Can you help me?
