Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been experiencing nerve pain in my left arm for the approximately 3 weeks that is constant it started with my neck and shoulder and is now primarily in my arm with numbness and tingling from my bicep to the back of my hand. I ve seen my primary doctor who has referred me to a neurologist but the appointment isn t until next month. Is there anything I can do to alleviate the pain?
Yes, nerve pain or irritation can be reduced by giving the nerves enough nutrition required for its growth and healing. Vitamin B12 is found very effective in this regard.
You can directly start on Neurobion forte drug for a month once daily after food. With this, only your problems will solve. If you still feel problematic, then first get nerve condition study done by a neurologist and he will treat the rest.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
