How Can Night Sweats And Mood Swings During Menopause Be Treated?

I have had a partial hysterectomy a year ago and the menopausal symptoms keep getting worse. I ve tried herbal and hrt. Is there anything else to do to stop the night sweats, lose this weight, get my moods back to normal and become me again or do I just suck it up and hope it eventually stops?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The menopausal symptoms would decrease but it would not be possible to say when this would occur.
The time frame can vary from weeks to years.

There are medications and supplements that are thought to help eg black cohash, st john's wart or hormone replacement therapy for a short period of time.

You can discuss these options with your doctor and try one to see if it helps to decrease your symptoms.

I hope this helps
