How Can Night Sweats And Mood Swings During Menopause Be Treated?

I am 45 and going through menopause. I have no insurance, I don t work, can t work! I have been denied 6 times for SSD now. For 7 yrs I have been diagnosed through state and government mental health system for Bipolar, panic and anxiety disorder w/psychotic episodes. And severe depression. With most meds it makes everything worse!! I ve been pretty much through the whole list of antidepressants, mood stabilizers and etc..... What over the counter or natural estrogen or progesterone can I take for the night sweats, hot flashes, and mood swings? Please help!!!!!

Some over the counter herbal supplements are available to treat hot flashes associated with menopause. However, they are not FDA regulated and their efficacy is not monitored.
One such supplement is Black cohosh which available over the counter. Take 40 mg for not more than 6 months.
Best option would be to undergo hormone replacement therapy.
