How Can Non-essential Tremors Be Treated?

I have non-essential tremors since I was a teenager. I m now 60 yrs. old & they are getting worse in both hands and it is beginning to affect my voice, slurring of words and voice is shakey. My head also sometimes tilts and shakes. What can I do to alleviate these symptoms? I have been perscribed 2mg valium X 3 a day

Hi,

Non-essential tremors can be treated by beta blockers such as Propranolol help relieve tremors in some people.
Beta blockers may not be an option if you have asthma or certain heart problems.Side effects may include fatigue, lightheaded or heart problems.
