How Can Nose Congestion And Post Nasal Drip Be Treated?

i have some sinus drainage and it seems to be trying to my chest a little just enoughfor some couhing i am not sick it is just sinus drainage i use saline solution for my nose it doesn t seem to help what would you suggest it is trying to make me hoarse sounding. what would you suggest

Hi Dear,

Nose congestion and post nasal drip as per your query seems to be due to respiratory tract infection, deviation of nasal septum, nasal polyp, and weak immune system due various diseases.

Consult ENT specialist once and go for complete physical examination and start treatment accordingly.Treatment depends upon the cause. If it is is due to bacterial infection then doctor can prescribe antibiotics along with antihistamines and decongestants which relieves the symptoms like post nasal drip. Take mucolytic agent like ambroxol to make mucus thin which can be easily removed. Take steam twice a day which will give relief from congestion and do warm saline gargles .
