How Can Nose Congestion And Sore Throat Be Treated?

I have had a stuffy nose and sore throat for past two weeks and the sore throat seems to be getting worse while the stuffy nose seems to be leaving. It hurts when I swallow, like I have a lump in my throat around the adam s apple. What do you recommend?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

I read your query and I understand your concern. I think you are suffering from tonsillitis and the lump is a lymph node.
I recommend you to take amoxicillin 625 twice a day for 7 days. Also an iodine spry disinfectant such jodox can help.

Hope my answer was helpful, if yes, vote helpful. Thank you for the query.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka ( general and family physician ).
