I have a very bad cold how can I unstuff a very clogged nose? I used to be addicted to Afrin nasal spray and now my nose is very sensitive and stays stuffed without any relief. What can I do?? I have been snorting warm water with a little table salt in it and also snorting saline nasal spray. Someone told me to rub Vics on my chest and feet and put socks on and go to bed that way..... I will take any advice you have to offer, especially if it works!!!!

Hello,

You can use antihistamines such as Benadryl or Cetirizine for congestion.

Use pseudoephedrine decongestants because it may damage the nasal mucosal lining. You can use corticosteroids spry such as Flonase or Budesonide. Also, rinse nose with saline water.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
