How Can Numbness, Pain And Burning Sensation On The Shin Be Treated?
Hello, I m. 48 year old female. My left shin has an area of skin approximately the size of a baseball that is numb,and when rubbed ,hurts like a burning sensation. I do not have diabetes,although it does run in my family. Any suggestions would be appreciated,thank you.

Hi, Thanks for the query.I understand your concern. Your symptoms ssem to be due to nurogenic cause....pressure,pinching or stress to the nerve suplying to affected part at local level /knee/ hip or spinal level Treatment would be byrest/cold pack/ anti inflammatory pills, vitamine B12 pills./physiotherapy... depending on causative factor. Please consult an orthopedic surgeon. Thanks.
