How Can Oesophageal Cancer Be Treated?

Hi I have oesophageal cancer, they have prescribed alphamox as I have pain in the mouth. The capsules look large and I am in a fluid died, I am worried they may get stuck, can I pull the capsular apart and take it with water, will that be effective ? Thank you.

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Yes, you casn take it with water,but if there is obstruction of esophagus with tumor then sooner or later passage will be completely obstructed. The best option would be surgery to remove tumor or palliative surgery to relieve obstruction. But if this is contraindicated then chemotherapy may be an option.
