Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
A year back I was diagnosed with Hypertension (High B.P) and a very small stone in the kidney. Ever since I have been taking the prescribed medicines, is there a way I can control the B. P without the medicine and in terms of the diet what would be the ideal intake.
Hi, Yes, there are chances that borderline hypertension can be managed with diet or lifestyle modification techniques. High blood pressure with diastolic BP around 100, are hardly controlled without drugs. So i would advice you to contact your primary care physician, get an ABP recordings, and let him decide what is the best option for you.
Regards
