Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

Chances of getting depression in girl are more than boy. That may be due to hormonal reason or different mental make up. In girl, chances of suicide or impulsivity is also more than boy. Other wise, symptoms remain same. In management, antidepressant and benzodiazepine is helpful in both. Rest, depends upon severity of depression. Mild depression could be improved by psychotherapy.

Thanks
