Currently being prescribed Forteo because despite numerous different meds for osteoporosis including Reclast my bone desity went from -2.5 to -3.0. I am 4 9 and weight 110lbs, go to the gym 5xweek with combination of running and weight lifting, run 5K/every month, avoid too much caffeine, eat a pretty healthy diet, and take vitamins including Vit D prescribed and over the counter. History of kidney stones so i am cautious about calcium replacement. IPTH, Ca, levels normal, celiac screening normal. What do I do?

How Can Osteoporosis Be Treated?
Hello, It is early to suffer from osteoporosis. Check for both d levels and calcium levels. Check for renal problems or renal loss of calcium etc. In the case of female or male with post menopause may present like osteoporosis. In this condition need to supplement hormones.
