Hello,

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing these symptoms. As to how bad these cyst are this really depends on the size, consistency, location and length of time of the cyts have been present in your ovaries. Some cysts require no treatment, are hormonal in nature and may regress after a cycle. Most advise for individuals with initial cysts findings are to relax, give it a month or two for regression, and if they have not dissipated or shrunk to any noticeable degree to return to the physician for further options. Medical stabilization of cyts with birth control medications are often the next go to option, and are very useful at stabilzing hormones and or enzymes which cause the cyst formation and non-regression. Further options after this include pinpoint surgery, called Laparoscopy or Laparotomy, in which a surgeon can through a needle hole incision, guided by microscopic camera, cut the cysts out of your ovaries.

Regardless, I suggest you have a meeting with your OBGYN and or primary care physician to discuss what options are best for you at this point. I wish you the best of luck.
