How Can Pain And Burning Sensation In The Ankle Be Treated?

hello doctor. i broke my ankle 2 weeks ago and had surgery. i went for a checkup after 2 weeks and the doctor took off the cast and put me in a airboot but when i was out i accidentaly put a bit of weight on the ankle with the boot on, it didn t hurt that much at that time. after getting home the other day i took off the boot and took a shower but when i put the boot back on my left side of ankle started hurting. when i take the boot of there is less pain but when its on there is way more pain it feels like burning.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It looks like you have hurt your ankle. Take Tylenol for relieve & keep your ankle at rest for a day or two. Note if their is any swelling. Continue to take the medications prescribed. If you still have the problem then report to your treating doctor for their might be either some infection or inflammation that is interfering with the healing. You need to be examined physically.
