How Can Pain And Inflammation On The Toe Be Treated?

My toe was hurting for two days, yesterday i looked at my toe to see what’s wrong. I moved the side of my toe where the skin meets the nail and i had a piece of plastic in my toe almost looked like the size of an eyelash. I removed it and could feel it coming it but today it’s still sore and it’s red. What should i do?

Hello,

Maybe that plastic might have stuck to your toe and has caused the inflammation. If it is so small then you don't need any anti-inflammatory or analgesics to subside the pathology. If it is getting worse then you can try it. You probably better to wait for the healing rather than taking unnecessary medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
