How Can Pain And Swelling Due To A Bee Sting Be Treated?

I was stung by a bee 3-4 months ago, a week later I was stung again in the same location. I iced it and took benadryl, and ibuprophen for pain and swelling. Since then I have felt the spot swell again and it gets painful all over again! How many times will this happen?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is due to inflammatory reactions.

You can take antihistamines like Cetirizine for symptomatic relief.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
