How Can Pain And Swelling In The Big Toe Be Treated?

Hi my son is in full time training to be a ballet dancer, he woke up Monday morning with pain in his big toe joint below the nail it is swollen and has been suffering with pain all week to the point that he can’t do class. He has had an X-ray and is not broken he needs to get back into class ASAP, we have been icing it but it is still swollen and painful it’s his big toe

Thanks for given information,I suggest you anti inflammatory drug can be helpful for pain relief and swelling
Tablet. Piroxicam
1+1
take tablet 2 times a day for 3 days
Gel. Ibuprofen
Apply gel on toe 3 times a day
put foot brace
