How Can Pain And Swelling In The Ears Be Treated?

I was given Ciloxan ( Ciprofloxacin Hcl) for a ear infection. when I use it the pain increases. My ear seams to be swollen almost shut. When I woke up this morning my ear felt fine but within 30 minutes of putting in the drops my ear started hurting. Can I be allergic to it.

welcome to hcm ..if you are allergic to ear drop then you must have developed the itching associated with other symptoms ..please visit ent surgeon to evaluate the exact cause ..
