How Can Pain And Swelling In The Leg Be Treated?

Hello...I bumped my leg on the side of our hot tub last evening as I was exiting and a large bruise formed immediately with swelling. I iced it last evening and elevated my leg and took ibuprofen for the pain/swelling. It is very sensitive to the touch today, but no pain when walking or sitting. Should I be concerned about a DVT or is this typical for a bruise/lump to form so quickly after being in hot water? I should add that the ice reduced the swelling and there is not much of a lump at all today. Hoping it is just a contusion, but wanted advice as to whether or not to pay a visit to my family doctor. Thank you!

nothing to worry...the swelling and pain will come down in two -three days ...if you are having extreme intolerable pain continue to take T.IBUPROFEN for two more days after food
