How Can Pain And Swelling In The Throat Be Treated?
My 15 year old had a tonsillectomy two days ago. Went to ER today on doctor s advice for pain, inability to swallow, swelling in throat. She was given IV fluids, steroids, and fentanyl for pain. About a 1/2 hr ago her pain was returning so we gave her a dose of her prescribed Hydrocod + AP. Now her face is a grayish color. Anything to worry about?
