Hello and welcome to HCM.
It seems your arm has certainly got bruised.
If I were your treating doctor,I recommend,
-Antibiotics like cephalexin and Anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen or naproxen for 3 days.
-Locally apply ice packs for 15-20 minutes for 3-4 times in a day till swelling subsides.
-Let the arm rest for 3-4 days.
The swelling and pain of bruise should recede by 3-4 days and colour fades till 7 days.
If swelling and worsens beyond 3 days or if there is any restriction of movement of arm present ,visit surgeon so that further assessment by physical examination,Xray can be done and accordingly action can be taken.
Hope this information helps.
Thanks.
