How Can Pain Around An Injection Side On The Upper Arm Be Treated?

I am 57 & received Pneumo 23 on Friday at 3pm. I am high risk as I am asthmatic and was diagnosed with Coxxi two years ago. I have a level 7 pain in my upper left arm-very painful to touch-and a fever of 101 one day post vaccination. I heard the shot had some rough side effects vs other IZ s but I can t remember being in this much injection site pain. I am hoping the pain will dissipate. Thanks very much. Gregg Dodderidge

apply ice pack on the injection site it will relax the muscle and relieve your pain
injection site pain is very common specially after vaccination, also the technique matters
but ice pack will definitely help
