How Can Pain In My Left Wrist When I Cross My Thumb Over My Fingers Be Treated?

Good evening. For the past two weeks, I have experienced pain in my left wrist e.g. when I cross my thumb over my fingers, moving my thumb toward my torso (moreso) and some tenderness when I extend my thumb toward my right hand not markedly so when I move my thumb to indicate four.
