How Can Pain In The Arm Due To An Accident Be Treated?

I was in a bike accident 3 weeks ago which resulted in 20 stitches to face, bruises, contusion, broken teeth, and arm pain. Right now my issue is with arm pain....I have been taking ibprophen and getting no relief. It is a constant dull pain. Using my arm for different things (steering, opening door, lifting things) is painful. Xrays were taken to everything and nothing is broken. What can I do to heal this...

Hello,

You need to make sure you use the right dose of Ibuprofen. You may take up to 800 mg every 6 hours after food and can take paracetamol at the same time with it.
If you are not better with this you may need to have a check with your doctor again. Sometimes a repeat x-ray is needed as not always the x-rays come out positive the first few days. The doctor needs to be sure your soft tissues are well as well (no swelling, no change in color, no risk for deeper infection).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
