How Can Pain In The Chest And Abdomen Be Treated?

Hi, my name is Kristina. I m 30 years old,8 years ago I was diagnosed with stomach ulcer and sometimes I lose weight and sometimes I don t feel like eating, like last night I had some sharp pains on my chest and then I started releasing gas from my mouth then abdominal pain then I urinated alot, what could be the problem??

Welcome to the Healthcaremagic.
Stomach ulcer is a very common problem and i have many patients daily with this problem. Many times i think it is quite underdiagnosed.

As far as your problem is concerned , i hope you have confirmed the stomach ulcers by upper GI endoscopy through which doctors can directly visualize stomach ulcers. Confirmation is very important for treatment.

Urea breath Test for H-pylori is also very important in cases of long term epigastric pain associated with weight loss . H-pylori is a bacteria which can easily be treated . If left untreated will complicate the ulcers. Therefore it is very important to have it tested .

Chronic stomach ulcers can also cause reduced absorption of some vitamins which are required in hemoglobin synthesis. So it is possible you might be having some degree of anemia . Get a blood complete picture to confirm if you have such a problem.

In the end if a confirmed diagnoses is made it is usually easy to treat the problems associated with the stomach , but time is crucial. So go to you nearest doctor as soon as possible.
