General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The basic treatment consists of medicinal treatment to control basic infection along with high protein, vitamin supplements for improved general condition. Pain can be managed by physiotherapy & pain medicines. When infection is under control, in case spine is affected, a surgical intervention can be done to give relief for neurogenic pain in legs, hips, back bone. Please discuss this with your treating physician &orthopedic surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
