Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Is there any change in your gait? Proper history with clinical examination and radiological investigation needed. Because ankle pain can have many causes such as POORLY FITTING FOOTWEAR,HIGH HEELS, SPRAINS, STRAINS, OVERUSE, LACK OF USE, TRAUMA,ARTHRITIS FASCIITIS etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
