How Can Pain In The Left Eye Be Treated?

the corner of my left eye has been hurting and I cant seem to see anything in it. It waters all the time and it burns. I have eye oinment and wondering if I should put a little bit in it to stop it from hurting so much. It is swelled a little, Would it hurt to use the eye medication?

it appears to be angular conjunctivitis which is mainly allergic. take tablet livocetrizine 5mg in morning and cromal eye drop can be applied two times daily.
