How Can Pain In The Left Leg Be Treated?

My daughter was doing a one-handed cartwheel and landed on her right leg. When she lands the left leg, she should bend it, but she said that she accidentally landed with it straight. She described it as and jammed feeling and bending a little bit sideways. It hurt when she did this (I asked if she heard or felt a pop, and she says no), and it really hurt when she tried to walk. All of the orthopedic clinics are now closed and will be tomorrow for the holiday. She is currently icing it with ibuprofen. Thoughts?

Hi,

The landing may cause a sprain or metatarsal bone fractures.

Apply cold and warm compression, elevate the limb, use painkiller or NSAIDs locally and orally.

If symptoms not improved please consult your orthopedician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
