How Can Pain In The Leg Due To Disc Herniation Be Treated?

I have 3 herniations in my lumbar area and 2 bulges beginning in T12 and down into L1 - L5. Was told it was not bad enough for surgery and now I have trochanter bursitis in right hip with pain going down my leg to the foot. What do you recommend since I wake up in pain every morning? Have tried Physical therapy, therapeutic massage, and cortisone injections.
