How Can Pain In The Lower Abdomen Along With Fatigue Be Treated?

My doctor just gave me meds to cure suspected giardia. After 3 days it seems to be working, but I m still very weak and I have pain on my lower right abdomen. I probably had the giardia since last fall, thinking it was lactose intolerance I switched milk. I think I got dehydrated and perhaps a litt malnourished. I m drinking a lot of water now. Anything else I should do? Thank you

Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and plan for an ultrasound scan.
