Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Can Pain In The Lower Back, Shin And Groin Be Treated?
i have a left lower back pain radiating to the front of the left thigh. After a day, my left shin started getting numb. A few days later, I had a pain in my left groin. I felt this pain for the first time when I got up from my office chair to get a drink.
You need to rule out any nerve compression if present for the radiating pain in the thigh and lower back.
Your detailed neurological evaluation should be done for that to check any nerve compression if present. Lower spine X-ray also can be done to check bulging disc if present.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
