How Can Pain In The Lower Ribs Be Treated?

i saw on the doctors tv show today a16yr old girl had lower rib pain. the dr. she saw operated, and cut out part of her most lower rib. is this procedure known to any of you, and could this be a recommended ? as i have the same rib pain in the same area. i ve been taking diclofenac twice a day, and hasn t helped.

It could be due to conditions like costochondritis. As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

Surgical correction is the last resort and as of now, we can go for conservative measures.

Consult a physician in case symptoms persists.
