I have stage 4 prostate cancer! I am being treated at the VA hospital .hormones. Along with this was very little pain! Then I started getting pain in the Thoracic spine, around, the 4,to 7 vertebra. when I have these Pains, it makes me feel like its hard to take in the next breath? I have looked up the symptoms of aneurysm! The pain is like something that will cut off my next breath! My Name is Joe ! I would appreciate any information that may be taking place? x-ray& scans have been taken, for the Cancer, could they have missed an aneurism? thank you for your time

Hello,

Pain in the spine at thoracic area probably due to
1. Thoracic muscle spasm.
2. Secondaries may spread to bones from prostate malignancy.
3. Pleurisy
4. Herpes zoster
5. Thoracic spine osteoarthritis
6. Tuberculosis spine.

If you are feeling pain during spine extension and flexion then pain may be originated from the spine. If it elevated during deep inspiration or expiration then pain may be originated from the lungs. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
