How Can Pain In The Surgical Incision After A Laparotomy Be Treated?

Hi, I went through a Laparotomy surgery, 1/13/2027. A portion of small intestine was cut & removed. I m NOW 2months, plus 11 days, PAST surgery & experiencing left side of 6in. incision pains. EVEN when I m sitting in my living room chair. I called the surgeons office 3/23/17, left MY message. NO RERSPONSE as of today, Fri. 3/24/17. I called MY PC office, dr. is off today. Message to a nurse who answered. We can send message to PC when she returns Mon. (thanks a lot) Cld. clinic after hours and a Dr. called. NO ideas. (ok) Called Medicare, I m female-79years. widowed, live alone. QUOTE we can t call pain meds. on a week-end. Ok, any ideas why this pain OR how to DEAL with it. NO.

You can take analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Seratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. Nothing much to worry as the symptoms will settle in couple of days with conservative measures.
