How Can Pain In The Vulva Be Treated?

Hi my name is Gloria and I have been in a car accident 6 years ago and have had problems with my vulva every since. I am too embarrassed to talk to my pain Doctor about it, He says that I have Fibromyalgia and gives me Suboxone which doesn t help with the Vulva pain. I live in Richmond Virginia and need to know if there is a Doctor that is knowledgeable concerning Vulvodynia, I am in severe pain because it never-ending.I have not had sex in 5yrs because of the pain, I need help please!!!!! Fibromyalgia can affect any part of body including vulva.
Treatment of fibromyalgia consists of pain killers and anti-depressants.
In addition to drugs, moist heat, stress reduction is also required.
You will have to live with the disease since it is a chronic disease.
