How Can Pain While Swallowing Due To Tonsillitis Be Treated?
hello, I am having tonsils from two days. I am having pain in swallowing saliva and food. AT first day I was asked to take doxycyclin and PCM. BUT IT DIDN T showed any effect and now I have given amoxicillin for 5 days plus combiflam for fever and pain.

- Take enough rest. - Take plenty of fluids. - Use throat lozenges to relieve pain. - Take soft food such as soups and milkshakes. - Take proper course of antibiotics along with Ibuprofen And anti inflammatory medications. - Avoid sharp and spicy food. - Maintain hygiene of oral cavity.
Visit ENT specialist once and go for throat culture test to find out microorganism such as virus or bacteria and start treatment accordingly.
