How Can Painful Bumps Around The Vagina Be Treated?

Hi, recently I shaved my Pubic area. The next day, I started to get little bumps (razor burn, which is not uncommon for me) but never in the vaginal area. When I urinate, it burns and sore to touch when wiping. Any remedies or suggestions on how to cure this quickly? It’s very uncomfortable to urinate.

Hello. You might have developed folliculitis. You need to take a course of antibiotics preferably tab. augmentin three times a day for 5 days and apply soframycin ointment in the area. Also take a bucket of hot water and sit in it for sometime so that there will be hot fomentation in that area. Better avoid shaving with razor. Use hair remover or waxing. regards- Dr Sanjay Kini
