How Can Painful Intercourse Be Treated While Having Vaginal Atrophy And Burning Sensation During Urination?

I have had breast cancer and my dr has me on femara which has given me vaginal atrophy. I have tried every moisturizer and lubricant there is but still have very painful sex. The worst part seems to be how bad it burns to pee immediately after intercourse. Any suggestions??

Hello,

Most common cause for painful Intercourse is dryness of vagina. And in your case, it is due to hormonal imbalance caused by Famera (chemotherapy) drug.

So, in my opinion, you should definitely consult gynecologist and get done hormone levels.

You will need hormone pills to regulate hormones. Once your hormones are normalize, you will have normal painless Intercourse.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
