I have 5 bulging disc with 2 being herniated with a current MRI, I need pain medicine because I have pain through out the day and night being worse in the morning. Is it wrong of me to seek out a doctor who could possibly help me with some pain relief ?

There are lots of doctor's out there that specialize in pain management and chronic pain. The physician may be able to offer you other therapies such as injections in addition to medications. People also have good results with things such as yoga or tai chi in the management of back pain. It is important to keep moving and stretch daily. Chiropractic care, acupuncture, or Osteopathic manipulative therapy may also be able to provide you with some pain relief.
