How Can Painful Toe Blisters Causing Dryness, Itching With Pus Be Treated?
Hello, i have blisters between all the toes of my right foot which have popped. ( Excreted varying puss colour between clear and opaque yellow) theu have gotten worse over the last week and are incredibly itchy, uncomfortable to walk on, and painful. The skin in the joints of the first, forth, and fifth toe is dry and cracked, there is also firmness in the skin between the first and second toe. Any suggestions to relieve the itch/pain untill i see my physician in a week? Or is it important enough to make my way to a clinic or hospital before then?
Hi.. welcome to healthcaremagic.com and myself Dr. Atishay Bukharia would be answering your questions..
You might be suffering from VESICOBULLOUS TINEA PEDIS, first and foremost is to treat the coexisting bacterial infections by systemic antibiotics like Amoxicillin and later it is needed to be treated by SYSTEMIC ANTIFUNGAL like ITRACONAZOLE and topical TERBINAFINE.. keep the area dry and avoid tight wearing shoes..
hope it helps
