How Can Panic Attacks And PTSD Be Treated?

Hi I Suffer from Panic attacks and PTSD. I have always been a very nervous and anxious person. I mask these feelings but the physical toll on my body is out of control. I am currently taking Catapres-TTs , clonidine and I feel relaxed and my chest does not hurt or feel tight at all. Can I stay on this medication for awhile?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You can stay on this medicine for a particular period of time.

More needed is counselling sessions with your psychiatrist and lifestyle modifications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
