How Can Periods Be Induced?

my daughter always has 40 days cycle and has thyroid . 2 months back her thyroid was 20 and now it has come down to 9 . she had periods in may mid and she has done pregnancy test which was negative once and positive twice. when she went to doctor she said no pregnancy. she is taking tabelets for periods to come. what to do
